(read more) ft of COREtec LVT in our basement on top of a concrete slab. We love the look and, while it has only been installed for about 6 months, it is holding up very well. We have found no installing problems. Two of my favorite things about Nick was how responsive he was and how he had minimal waste. Nick was always quick to respond to my emails and call me back when needed. He was very friendly and showed up every time he said he would. He was also very knowledgeable about where to get good product. Then, on top of being very reasonably priced for the install, he saved us at least $500 when we did not need to buy as much product because he does such a great job cutting that he has minimal waste. At least 2 other quotes I got said I should count on 10-15% waste and Nick only did 5%. I would highly recommend Nick for any flooring work in the Nashville area. I am thankful I was able to find a recommendation for him on Nextdoor and called him.

Everything fits great and the trim cuts are precise and well done. This guy really knows what he is doing and seems to take pride in a job well done. (read more) detail-oriented, and trustworthy. He provided expert quality but at a very affordable price. I have never seen anyone with his level of work ethic and attention to detail. He went above and beyond to level the floor before installing my laminate. He spent 2 hours on the initial appointment checking the levels of my concrete and marking up all the spots that need leveling…and this was before he even gave me a quote! So, I thought the quote would be too high, but it was far less than I expected. Then he spent the first day leveling and barely charged anything for that. He was more concerned with the prep work to ensure the quality of the finished install. Then he laid out the patterns and seams better than I had started to do, so after the first few rows I realized that it was better to let him do it. Nick also kept everything so clean while he worked. He has excellent communication and was also able to accommodate special requests I had. I have a long run of marble that transitions to laminate, and I did not want any kind of T-molding or strip…just a 3/16” grout line between the marble and laminate to match the marble grout lines. I wasn’t expecting anyone to be able to do that well, but he said he could….and then did it perfectly everywhere! This is the guy you want to call! I would give him six stars if possible.

(read more) They looked terrible and were a trip hazard. Nick used the extra boxes of flooring that I had stored and reinstalled a large portion of the flooring. This time the floors were done right, leaving enough space for expansion and staggered correctly. His price was great, he did all of the work himself, and without waiting for weeks.

We pulled the carpet up ourselves and he even gave us tips on that process. He was thorough, filled any cracks, made sure the floor was level and sealed a leak by the back door that would have ruined our floors if gone unnoticed. Nick was flexible and worked with our schedule, very responsive, picked up some of the larger supplies for us and helped find the transition pieces we needed.
